Sorry we haven’t been updating much lately. I [nathan] am in Fargo, Nd picking up our new van and hanging out with some of our friends in Baltic to Boardwalk and Crab Legs. We’re super stoked to have a new van and are so exited to play a bunch. [also i’m going to the Enabler / Remiss show tonight, which is going to be nuts.]
ALSO KEARNEY FRIENDS: When we are gone make sure you go to every show booked at Tracks and support the new venue. It means allot to have people help keep this town’s music going without having to pay 200 or more to play a show. It also helps pay bands better, which means we will be having more tours coming through.

We always talk about all of us going through every single kind of situation as this band.
Like we are making sure we don’t miss something.
It’s crazy, we’ve gotten lost, gotten stuff stolen, recently been in a tornado, and honestly I feel like anything that has happened to us as band as a whole sums up the last two years of my life. Just a no remorse, no stopping, no worries attitude. I honestly would never have it any other way.
This weekend we are looking into getting a 15-passanger van and honestly it feels like a promise ring you’d give to your girl friend, because if we goof up we are stuck with this big rock that will be in one of our drive ways for years to come.
We’re all exited.
We’re going out on tour for around 30 days this summer. 15 of them our good friend BJ Moore is booking for us and the other we are doing with a band we recently just made friends with. It’s going to be one crazy summer. No matter what happens, it’ll be interesting to say the least.
We just got a few rough mixes back. Honestly, we are completely exited to show everyone these. Thank you for everyone that has been patient with us in all of our transitions and I hope you’ll stick with us until they are released, because as a band we have never worked so hard for something.
This album is turning out better than we honestly ever thought we were capable of. Also we do have a great duo of engineers that are making this thing sound amazing. We have a release date set, which will be March 31st and we will announce the show at the end of next week.
our practice space [Nate’s house] recently has been doing a bunch of awesome shows. The WhiteWives [featuring two members of anti-flag] was recently there and did a cover of the Pixies for us!

Today the Carson House was hit by an SUV. So many memories were made and so many friendships happened due to this one house. We recorded our first EP and played a few shows there, so it is sad to see it like this.

20 hours in the studio and we are finished tracking everything for the new EP. The whole thing was recorded with our good friends Cole Voss and Cody Peck at Sadson studios which was perfect for what we were doing, and we couldn’t be happier with how the tracks are turning out! They sound really good even unmixed and unmastered, so we can’t until we can share it with everyone out there!

We are recording in 6 days with our good friends Cody Peck and Cole Voss in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are recording at their studio that is under the 815, which used to be the old box awesome. Currently we are going to be recording six songs for our EP called, “Where I Am And Where I Want To Be”. It should be about in late february if everything goes well.
